BEAL, Jack H.
BEAL, Jack H. 78, of Lancaster, Calif. Passed away Friday June 24, 2016 at home surrounded by the love of his family. Jack was born April 12, 1938 in Peoria, Ill. to Raymond and Mildred (Miller) Beal. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daughter Danielle Beal and brother James Beal of Bartonville, Ill. Jack is survived by his bride of 26 years Jacqueline Beal of Lancaster, Calif., four daughters; Laurie Beal of Peoria, Ill, Jacqueline Hess of Vista, Calif., Mary (Patrick) Smith of Highland Ranch, Colo., Desiree Evans of Silt, Colo. and two Step daughters; Debra Logan, Palmdale, Calif., and Jennifer (Sean) Lamoreux of Lancaster, Calif. He is also survived by four granddaughters, six grandsons and one great- grandson. Survivors also include his twin brother Jerry (Juanita) Beal of Caledonia, Ill. and three sisters; Doris Courdt of New Port Richey, Fla., Carol Miller of Layton, Utah and Patricia (Bob) Walker of Hartonville. Ill. Jack was a printer. He began his 45 year career as a type hand compositor and pressman in which he retired from the Antelope Valley Press Palmdale Calif. in 2001. Jack joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 1960 and received an honorable discharge in 1967. He was very proud that he was a Marine Veteran and became an active member of the Palmdale American Legion Post #348. He held numerous offices including Commander and post adjutant for several years, Jack was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church. Services are pending. Memorial Donations may be made to the Palmdale American Legion Post #348.
