AMARO, Jr., Paul
AMARO, Jr., Paul Passed away peacefully at his Lancaster home with his beloved family at his side on January 2, 2015. Born January 20, 1934 in Bisbee Ariz., he graduated H.S., and enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was Honorably Discharged Radioman 3rd class in 1956. He then moved to California where he would meet his wife of 54 years, Victoria. He also began working at U.S. Borax where he would retire 41 years later in 1997. Paul, or Junior as many liked to call him, is survived by his wife Victoria; his 3 sons, Jerry (Debra), Richard and John; 3 granddaughters, Jennifer, Natalie and Monica; 7 great grandchildren, Landon, Kayden, Colten, Savannah, Brooklyn, Luke and Eli; 3 sisters, Genevieve St. Pierre, Irene Lemen, Arlene Ruiz and his brother Victor. Soft-spoken, Paul was loved by those that knew him, and adored by those closest to him. He was known for his light-hearted wit and nature, and his love of family. His family is at peace, yet extremely saddened by his death, and they all look forward to that day when they will be reunited with the Husband, Dad, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and best friend that they all love and adore so very, very much. Services for Paul will be held at 1 pm, Friday, January 9, 2015 at Joshua Memorial Park 808 E Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Moose Lodge, Lancaster/Moose Charities 155 S. International Dr., Mooseheart IL 60539-1100. Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster
