SKELTON, Charles Alfred Chuck
SKELTON, Charles Alfred 'Chuck' Age 82, passed away January 4, 2013, in Lancaster, Calif. Chuck was born March 24, 1930, in Huntington Park, Calif. He lived on the Skelton Ranch in the Antelope Valley for 60 years. Chuck served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a carpenter and general contractor for 40 years. Chuck was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and packing into the Sierras with his horses and mules. He was a family man who cherished being with his family and instilled family values. Chuck was a role model to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Jean Skelton, one daughter and one son, Julie Skelton-Smith and her husband Ray of Los Osos, Brian Skelton and his wife Nikki of Quartz Hill, and two grandsons, Garrett and Tyler Skelton. Chuck will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A funeral Service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Halley Olsen Murphy , Lancaster Chapel with Interment to follow at Lancaster District Cemetery. www.halleyolsenmurphychapels.com
