CAILLIER, Robert (Bob)A. Sr.
CAILLIER, Robert (Bob)A. Sr. Born Feb. 13, 1917, in Gentley, Minn. Passed away Sept. 4, 2012, in Lancaster, Calif.Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1941 to 1945. He resided inBoron after leaving the Air Force and he and his Air Force buddy, Jim Darr, opened a garage first on EAFB and then in Boron. The partners then purchased the properties and businesses at Kramer Junction and expanded them to what is there today. Bob loved to work on and restore classic cars and was a member of the Amargo Cruisers, a Boron Car Club. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years in 1998,and his son, Robert Caillier Jr., who passed away in 2010. He is survived by his sons Bruce Caillier(Sharon) from South Beach, Oregon and Darryl Caillier, (Patty) from Boron. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren andeight great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind two brothers, Paul and Steve as well as three sisters, Josephine, Elayne and Yvonne. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, in Boron at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial willfollow atJoshua Memorial Park, Lancaster.
