QUINTO, Cindy L. (Neuenschwand
QUINTON, Cindy L. (Neuenschwander) Beloved Wife Daughter, Sister and Teacher. Born March 18, 1965, in Decatur, Indiana. Passed peacefully at home August 4, 2012, in Palmdale, California. Cindy was raised in Indiana, graduated from Purdue University, with a double major in Education and Photography. Later in California she earned a Masters in Curriculum Development. As much as she loved her hometown she needed to find work and had to move west to find a job. Cindy moved to Palmdale in 1989, to work as a teacher at Ocotillo Elementary School in Palmdale. Cindy was known as Miss Neuenschwander to her forth/fifth grade combo class and for seven years that fol- lowed. Cindy did so many things for her students that were first at her school, starting the yearbook, creating the music recorder program, leading the students in singing for programs. Cindy became Mrs. Quinton when she married the luckiest man in the Antelope Valley. We cannot fathom the number of lives she has touched. Cindys joys were cooking, photography, music (she played the piano, flute, piccolo, has a beautiful singing voice.) Her students were always foremost on her mind. In 2010, she was recognized by the school district for 20 years of loyal service. Cindy always was looking for things to enrich the students lives, on her own time she taught piano lessons and cooking classes for the children and adults. Cindys culinary skills were unrivaled, from a five-star restaurant presentation to a Midwest meatloaf, there was so much love, care and understanding of how to make an amazing plate. Cindy could cook for four or four hundred, and who could forget her deviled eggs? We could go on and on about how much she has done and how many she has helped and loved, but one thing is certain, 'Cindy we miss you so much.' Survived by her husband Allen, mother Doris, sisters Sheryl Nussbaum and Valerie Yoder, brother Darrin Neuenschwander, nephews Luke and Matt Nussbaum, Paul and Gabe Neuenschwander, Tyler Yoder, nieces Makenna and Ella Neuenschwander, Cassie and Megan Yoder, godson Jesse Garcia, goddaughters, Sarah Garcia, Lauren, Monica and Sophie Mortimer. All who will see you again someday. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m, and 5 to 7 p.m., Services will be held from 4 to 5 p.m., Friday, August 10, 2012, at Halley Olsen Murphy, Palmdale. www.hompalmdale.com
