LEISHMAN, Lee Wyatt
LEISHMAN, Lee Wyatt 77, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away early Thursday morning, July 26, 2012, at his home in Lancaster. Lee was born September 1, 1934, in Logan, Utah. He left his familys farm in Nibley, Utah, to serve his country in the Army for two years. In 1955, he married Winnie Atwood. They moved to Lancaster where all six of their children were born, Debbie, Kurt, Beckie, Eric, Jennie, and Shellie. Lee worked from 1957 to 1989, for the Post Office, starting as a carrier but ending his career as Postmaster of the Littlerock Office. He received various awards, including a commendation from Mike Antonovich. Lees years of dedicated service to others through his work in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a valued example to his surviving family which includes twenty-two grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Lee was preceded in death by his parents Sarah and Lamont Leishman, his sister Ranee Olson, and baby daughter Beckie. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the LDS Chapel, 1701 W. Lancaster Blvd., Lancaster. There will be a viewing at the same location at 9 a.m.
