Obituary Notices and Memorials

BERNALES, Francisco (Frank) 52. Frank passed away in his Palmdale home Thursday morning, Feb. 2, 2012. He was born in Taiwan to Bert (U.S. Navy) and Alpha Bernales. He always considered himself a Navy brat and always made friends wherever his father was stationed. After Taiwan he lived with his parents in Norfolk, Va., Bermuda, and settled in the Oxnard area where he attended Channel Island High. He has lived in California since the early seventies. Frank loved attending concerts and the Rolling Stones were his favortie group. His wish was to be cremated, with his ashes being sent to Georgia, without a ceremony or memorial. I ask all who knew Frank to light a candle on Saturday, February 11, 2012, in memory of a life full of love and to take a few moments to reflect how we can bring love into the world. The world is better for his having lived. We are better for having known him. Though his life may have ended too soon, it was a life complete in many ways. Frank is survived by his older brother Benjamin (59), nephew Jacob (22), niece Erin (15) and so many others who call him friend. Arrangements entrusted to Halley- Olsen-Murphy, Palmdale.
