BRADEN, ANN FRANCIS
BRADEN, Ann Francis Born, Sept. 25, 1919, to Vicenzo and Maria Grossi in Verona, Pennsylvania, passed away in Lancaster surrounded by her family Dec. 22, 2011. Survived by her Sweetheart of 30 years, Bud Phipps, and her children; Alexis (Bob), Patrick (Maureen), Bernadette (Gary), Susan (Jim), Patricia, (Art), 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Pamela, and great-great grandson, Damian; brothers and sisters, Dorothy, Alma, Helen, Mabel, Rose, Dominic, Lewis and Hilda. Mom and Bud moved to the Antelope Valley in 1993. They quickly made many friends through 'Fun After Forty' Dance Club and the Lancaster Senior Center. They had a very active social life together, enjoyed the Friday night dances and each others company. They hardly spent a moment apart and were the light in each others eyes. Mom had several occupations in her lifetime. She was a kindergarten teacher assistant in her home town. During WWII, Mom worked for the O.S.S. in Washington, D.C. She then proceeded to go into the nursing field until she retired. Visitation and Rosary will be held December 28, 2011, at 5:00p.m. at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary, Mission Hills, Calif. Mass will be held at Father Serra Parish, Lancaster ,Calif. December 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with graveside services following at San Fernando Mission Cemetery. 'A loving note to my family of many,, I love each one of you deep in my heart because of the Blessed Heaven of God'
