CUMMINGS, EMILY FRANCES RAUCH
CUMMINGS, Emily Frances Rauch 'The battle is over the victorys won, Im now in heaven with Gods only Son.' Emily Frances Rauch Cummings (Fran Rauch) of Lancaster, went to be with her Lord on October 29, 2011. She was 87 and lived in Lancaster for 54 years. Emily was deeply loved and will be so very missed. She was born in Milford, Virginia, on March 7, 1924, the youngest of six children. Emily married a career Navy man from California (Van Raymond Rauch Jr.) who later transferred to Lancaster where they raised their five children. She is survived by her children from California; Donna Ownbey (Scott), Van Raymond Rauch III, Lee Rauch (Linda), Bette Schramm (Larry), Micki Steger (Jeff). Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandchild with numerous nieces and nephews. A loving and caring wife, mother, grandma 'grandma figure' and friend. God blessed Emily with musical talent and a great love of music. She sang beautifully in church and with the 'Happy Singers' in Lancaster. Now she is singing for Jesus! A private inurnment was held at Joshua Memorial Park where she joined her husband Don in the 'Wall of Hope.'
