PORTER, CHARLES MACK
PORTER, Charles Mack III Born June 29, 1992, in Mission Viejo, Calif. Passed away Nov. 11, 2011, in Whidbey Island, Washington, as a result of a tragic car accident. Mack had a love for the game of football and played for Desert Christian High School. He moved to the Antelope Valley in 2003, and from 2009, he split his time between the Antelope Valley and Whidbey Island, graduating from South Whidbey High School in 2010. He was a member of the Young Marines from 2005 to 2009, and had attained the rank of Gunnery Sergeant as well as earning a multitude of achievement awards. Mack is survived by his father, Charles M. Porter Jr., his mother Rebecca Thomas, sister Brandi Porter and his niece Lilly Johnson. Also survived by numerous family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Grace Chapel, Lancaster, Calif.
