HUDDLE, MARGARET
HUDDLE, Margaret Elouse Born at home near Ellsworth, Nebraska on Feb. 3. 1916. Passed away at home in Lancaster, Calif. June 29, 2011. Margaret was born the 4th of 14 children to Paul Silas and Ocia Belle Lineback. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 7 brothers and daughter Shirley Johnson. Margaret married Robert Huddle on Aug. 28, 1949 in Alliance, NE. and they moved to California in 1950. They lived at their current residence in Lancaster, Calif. since 1981. Margaret was a true matriarch of this family, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother several times over. The love she carried for her family stretched far and wide and was felt by any who came in contact with her. Grandchildren and great grandchildren were her joy. It would warm her heart to no end to fuss over them and at them. Picnics and Family Reunions were a great time for her. Just a cordial visit for a couple of hours would make her day. She made many friends throughout her journey, some becoming life long. She always had a little something for everyone and she had a remedy for what ever ailed you, from a skinned knee to a broken heart. That was Margaret. Her later years, she devoted a lot of time to her family heritage. For any family historian in our family, she was a wealth of information. She remained very sharp and was a joy to listen to her talk about her years growing up on the homestead in the sand hills of Nebraska. Margaret is survived by her husband Robert of 62 years, 2 sisters Jean Plaster, of Simi Valley, Calif., and Phyllis Girton, of Fort St. John, British Columbia, and 4 sons, Randall Enright, of Moreno Valley, Calif., Russell Enright, of Denver, Colo., Paul Enright and his wife Sharon, of Gering, Nebraska, and Jack Enright and his wife Lynda, of Lompoc, Calif. and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. It is the circle of love that started with her, and has come back to her, that eases the pain of her passing. We love you Margaret, and you will never be forgotten. Memorial Services will be held at Joshua Memorial Park, On July 5, 2011. Viewing begins at 12:00 noon. Funeral service begins at 2:00 PM., 808 E. Lancaster Blvd., Lancaster, CA. 93535.
