CHRISTENSEN, Ruth Hammond Passed away April 19, 2011. She was 91. She was born in Logan, Utah May 27, 1919. Ruth had a degree in business administration. She worked as a secretary. During World War II, Ruth was the personal secretary to various generals and colonels. In 1947, she married Max D. Christensen and had three children, Linda, Paul and Dia. They were together for 52 years. They retired in Palmdale, California for 14 years until his death in 1999. She then moved to Simi Valley, California. Ruth enjoyed singing, writing, reading, gardening, painting, and shopping. Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dia and Kevin Wolfe; son-in-law, Bob Fiedler; her grandchildren, Leslie Case, Robert Fiedler, Jr., Daniel Wolfe; great grandchildren, Xavier and Inara Case; brother in law, Harvey Christensen and wife, Laraine; nieces La Ree Lidiard, La Rue Call, Alta Cox and Nancy Eastmond. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Fiedler; her son, Paul Christensen and husband, Max Christensen. Celebration of Life will be May 7th. For info email: diawolfe@sbcglobal.net
