CULLEN, ALLAN LEE
CULLEN, Allan Lee Born in Van Nuys, Calif., on May 24, 1955, peacefully passed away on November 7, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father Elvin Cullen. Allan leaves behind his mother Hyacinth Cullen, his son Zachery Cullen and daughter-in-law Wendy, his long time friend and companion Cindy Wilson and his many long time friends and employees. Allan was a graduate of Palmdale High School. As a proud Falcon, he excelled in basketball and tennis. He had a passion for life, and enjoyed it to the fullest. Allan was an avid sports fan. His love of NASCAR, NHRA, his personal classic car collection, and his love of boating, took him on trips across the United States. His success in business allowed him to travel the world. Allan had a successful Allstate Insurance Agency that began in 1984. He was well respected in the Insurance industry, and was honored many times throughout the years with Awards of Achievement both for himself and his loyal staff. He had been a long time active member of many local and civic organizations throughout the Antelope Valley including: GAVAR, Sheriff Boosters, all chambers of commerce, BIA, AVIFA, as well as many other charitable organizations. His legacy will carry on through his son Zac and his staff. He has left many longtime friends, and family saddened at his passing; he will be missed by us all. Allan was a good man. He was a loving father and son, a loyal friend and a wonderful boss. He was a caring, giving, generous and considerate man and above all, a gentleman. We thank him for his love, his friendship, his passion for life, his wonderful sense of humor (we all remember Allans smile and that special 'wink'), the courage he showed us all until the end, and the personal memories he has given each of us to share with others--forever. We will all miss him deeply, because of how special he made each of us feel. He was our friend, our confidant, our family and our rock. Services will beheld at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 20, 2010, atAntelope Valley CountryClub 39800 Country Club Drive Palmdale, CA 93551. A Celebration of Life will be held following services at 12:30 p.m., atNico's Restaurant, 42417 Sierra Highway Lancaster, CA 93535.
