COOK, CHRISTOPHER BUD
COOK, Christopher 'Bud' Bud lost his battle with cancer at the age of 78, on September 15, 2010, at his daughter's home in Lancaster with family at his side. Born in Belvedere, California, Bud was a Korean War Veteran who served in the 45th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH) unit. He joined the L.A. City Fire Department in 1960, retiring as an Engineer after a distinguished 28 year career. Bud was an avid motorcycle rider touring all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He was a Shrine Mason and member of Al Alaikah Legion of Honor. Bud was a loving, devoted father raising his daughters alone after the death of his wife Dolores in 1970. He is survived by daughters Debra Cook- Lewis of Lancaster; Barbara Dane of Simi Valley; son-in-law Eric Lewis; grandchildren Michelle, Shauna, Steven, Michael, Amy, Lisa, Erica, Eric; and several great-grandchildren.
