GUIDRY, ALBERT HENRI
GUIDRY, Albert Henri Born November 26, 1912, in Bayou Dularge, La. Passed away September 18, 2010. The oldest of eight children of Asa and Louise Guidry. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, four sisters and his first wife Margarita Garay. Survived by his wife Josephine Guidry, his youngest sister Phyllis Guidry, sons Henri, Donald, Steven; daughters Carol Guidry, Joyce Amselmi, two grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. He worked in the Motion Picture industry for 38 years lighting sets including the Wizard of OZ, The Misfits, and The Undefeated. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to the Antelope Valley in 1977, after retirement. He served as Master of Palmdale Masonic Lodge No. 769 in 1983. He was a member of Scotish Rite, Al Malaikah, The Elks and Le Cercle Francaise. He was proud of his Cajun heritage. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 10, 2010, at Palmdale Masonic Lodge, 2231 East Ave Q, Palmdale.
