CRAIG, HETTY FAYE
CRAIG, Hetty Faye In loving memory of Hetty Faye Craig, known to many as 'Gramma Hetty'. Hetty was born on August 8, 1926, in Leon, Iowa to Lenore and Elvis McDonald. She received her BA in education at Oklahoma University Norman and later moved to Lancaster, Calif., where she began her teaching career and earned her Masters degree at Pasadena College. After retiring in 1991, she created some of her favorite memories as a member of the dance group The Boogie Woogie Mamas and the choir assembly The Sweet Adelines. Surrounded by the warmth and love of her family, Hetty passed away on July 27, 2010. She was preceded by her husband Wilbur 'Bill' Craig. She is survived by her only son, John Craig and his wolf pack; Cheri, Shelley, Hollie, Jennie, Britt, Caitlin, Tyler and Alaina as well as eight great-wolf pack cubs; Caleb, Khalina, Kyrielle, Kaiden, Kevin, Connor, Kassidy and Kaycie. We love you and will miss you Gramma Hetty but now you are in Heaven dancing with the angels. Viewing will be held at 12 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Mumaw Funeral Home, with services following at 1 p.m.
