HOLLEARN, CHARLES JAMES
HOLLEARN, Charles James, Born January 17, 1927, in Chicago. Died April 13, 2010, in Lancaster, California after an 8 month struggle with lung and liver cancer. Chuck and his wife Giney Lou (deceased) built their home in Leona Valley in 1961, and were fortunate enough to live in their house the rest of their lives. Chuck was a retired Los Angeles County fireman. He leaves a son, Mike (Rita) of Rapid City, South Dakota; a daughter Cathi (Gene) Breckner of Palmdale, and grandchildren Jennifer, Sean and Christopher Hollearn of South Dakota; and Brian Breckner of Palmdale. The family would like to thank the staff of both Antelope Valley Hospital as well as Antelope Valley Healthcare Facility for their wonderful care during his last few weeks. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mollie, and the rest of the incredible staff at Vitas Hospice, who adopted Chuck as one of their own family, and kept him as comfortable as possible during his illness. Private graveside services to be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
