PACE, PHILOMENA
PACE, Philomena Born January 18, 1921, in Pennsylvania. Passed away March 11, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. She is survived by her nieces, Joyce Babin and Pattie Schroeder, nephews, Tom Richards and Dick Richards and their families. Phyl lived for 35 years in Acton for 10 years she lived 'Little House on the Prairie' style with no electricity or running water in the house and enjoyed it all. She was a computer operator and programmer for Lockheed and JPL and worked on the Ranger moon shots. She also worked for DPSS from 1971 to 1989, when she retired. Her hobbies were computers, gardening, reading and listening to political discussions on radio and TV. She will be missed by all, especially her long-time friend, Janet. Per her request, there will be no funeral services. Interment will be private at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in the rose garden. Chapel of the Valley Mortuary Palmdale, Directors.
