LOGAN, CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH
LOGAN, Charlotte Elizabeth Born March 9, 1927, in Larned, Kan. Passed away March 11, 2010, in Palmdale, Calif. Lottie led a long and interesting life. While raising her family, she worked as a waitress, baker, candy maker, florist, office assistant, aircraft assembler, and home health care aide. In 1951, she was selected as the 'Queen for a Day' on the popular TV program, Queen for a Day. An avid traveler, she visited all 50 United States, in a variety of modest RVs. She leaves three sons, Michael, Lewis Jr., and Charles (Susan), and two sisters, Ruth and Edith Murr. She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star for nearly fifty years, including a term as the Worthy Matron of the Santa Monica Chapter. She also enjoyed her friends at the Palmdale OES, the Red Hatters, Senior Center, and the United Methodist Church. Remembrance in her name may be sent to the Palmdale United Methodist Church.
