BOURASSA, James Edward He was born on December 4, 1921, in Central Falls, R.I. Passed away on March 4, 2010, in Palmdale, Calif. He spent his early years in Providence, R.I. He served during World War II, and then began a 34-year career as a missile test conductor at the Pacific Missile Range at Point Mugu, Calif. Following his retirement, he moved to Palmdale where he resided for the last 18 years of his life. His lifelong passion was flying airplanes in which he logged several thousand hours. He was also an active member in the Palmdale Elks Lodge. Three sons and their spouses survive him: Don (Stephanie), Gary (Nancy), David (Rick), as well as six grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale.
