Burned-out pump keeps Eastside Pool closed

LANCASTER - Thanks to a burned-out pump, Eastside Pool remains closed and under repair, city officials said.

Last Thursday, a circulation pump in the pool burned out Nov. 6 and was sent out for repair. The lower end of the pump is now being removed and assessed so that repair or replacement options can be finalized, officials said.

At this time, no definitive reopen date is available.

Notification will be made when the pool has reopened, officials said.

Eastside Pool is at Deputy Pierre W. Bain Park, 45045 Fifth St. East.
